Muckibude vs. Living Room Training - I've tried both over several months and pull my conclusion, which I find better!

Muckibude Vs. Living room training - what is better?

Sport is an absolute love of hate for me. In my diet, I found my groove with Pummel gets fit , but I'm still struggling with sports. I only moved my first 25 years of life when it was inevitable and always thought I was naturally lazy.

Then I was so much running that I had knee pain

After that, I did At Home Workouts at 9pm on my own for two years.

After that I spent 6 months in a Women's Circle Studio.

I've been enrolled in a classic gym since the end of January.

I could get the best results and what can I do in the long term?

Workout at home

(I almost exclusively use Fitness Blender Videos training)

BENEFITS

Flexibility

When you hopping fitness videos in your living room, you're totally flexible in your time , A workout can be installed at any time, whether directly after getting up or in the evening before going to bed. Here you can listen to your internal clock and even a packed schedule can find a workout gap! You've moved in 2 minutes and you're ready to go.

Costs

For a home weight workout, all you need is a sports mat, a sports bra and that's it. But I still recommend investing in a dumbbell set (for example, from Powerblock *) , which can be adjusted quickly and individually.

No audience

When I started doing sports, I felt incredibly uncomfortable in my skin. I felt like I was constantly being watched and condemned by others. On the one hand, this is completely nonsense (real athletes are focused on themselves when they exhaust themselves), on the other hand, a workout in the home is perfect because there are no spectators. I can sweat and look so stupid, nobody gets it!

DISADVANTAGES

No coach

A very significant disadvantage when training with workout videos is the missing instruction. You do not have a coach to correct your own form or give tips. Especially during strength training you have to pay attention to the correct execution, so as not to hurt yourself.

My tip: Set up a mirror, in which you can observe your form!

Increase

What made me decide to register at the gym was the lack of opportunity to upgrade. I was bored with the same exercises and came to a plateau during strength training, where nothing went on. Also the soreness subsided (my sign that I have to change something) and I just could not motivate anymore because I did not see any improvements.

The couch is so soft

If you do not feel like doing sports anyway, then the bastard is even stronger when the ass has already kissed the couch. Because once you're at home, it's even harder to get dressed up in sports clothes and do an hour of HIIT.

HOME WORKOUTS FOR SPORTS CARRIER

MUCKIBUDE VS.There are tons of devices in my studio that I can put into my workout. I never get bored and I can always try new things.

The spatial separation

One factor that I underestimated. Since I do my sport outside the apartment, I feel more comfortable. The studio is exclusively for sports, my living room now exclusively for relaxation. In addition, the presence of the other athletes in the studio motivate me unconsciously, because the atmosphere is much energetic, as in my living room (DUH!).

DISADVANTAGES

Either one has one - or not

Of course, gym membership is 100% dependent on whether you have one in your environment at all. I am lucky that my studio is right next to my subway station. The alpha and omega is easy accessibility for me - if the studio is not right on my way home or if I only have to change once more, the hurdle is too big for me.

Love money

I am also fortunate that my studio only costs 17 € a month, but some studios with good care sometimes pay 100 €. In addition, there is hardly a studio that can be terminated on a monthly basis. Most commit one for at least a year!

The Variation

Yeah, the change in the studio is both an advantage and a disadvantage for me. Being a novice trainer can overwhelm one of the many devices very quickly. Especially in a budget studio, there is often a lack of coaches who introduce you comprehensively and explain the devices. If I did not already have a basic understanding of sports through the fitness blender videos, I would have a hard time in the studio!

<img src =

Muckibude Vs. Living room training - so what's better?

The conclusion is not surprising - it all depends. FOR ME the gym is currently the better solution. But when I started doing the sport, the videos were definitely better. Especially for fresh mothers or women who want to build their fitness from zero, I find gentle cardiovascular videos in the living room great.

As soon as you want to step up and really want to get into training (with Legday, Pushday, Pullday, etc.), I again prefer a studio. The biggest advantage for me is that I can slowly increase the weights and have all the equipment at my disposal. It was not easy for me to find a routine at first, but I'm starting to get the hang of it, which makes me feel good.

But I do not rule it out start again with the Fitnessblender videos, or discover a completely different sport (bouldering, mountaineering, diving?) for me! I would never have thought that possible before, but since I have a basic fitness, I trust myself much more!

I'm happy to add a detailed post to my Do gym routine with tips and tricks!
