A pummel will fit: Chocolate Orange Power Balls recipe
Punctually at 10 o'clock and 15 o'clock my growls Stomach. This is exactly when my tummy processed my breakfast or lunch and asked for a snack. I could set the clock after that! Most of the time, I do not have any snacks on hand and try to get through the first hunger attack. Often I'm just thirsty!
But if I eat a snack, it should be healthy and taste good! The Chocolate Orange Power Balls fall into both categories:
My inspiration for the Power Balls was this recipe from health.com. I used oatmeal instead of almonds as my base. This means the Power Balls have more carbohydrates and are therefore no longer a low carb snack. Of course you can also make them with almonds!
The little balls taste incredibly good, as you might imagine. Chocolate and orange are easy on your eyes!
The fruity taste of the orange is a great contrast to the creamy chocolate. The orange juice makes the balls very juicy, so I would recommend to roll them in cocoa, otherwise there will be sticky fingers!

Notes
If you like me no blender , you can chop the dates, mix everything and then mince with a blender . Takes longer and is a bit awkward, but works!
The Power Balls can easily spend 7 days in the fridge, but by then you'll probably have them plastered!
A tasty pick -Me-Up Snack in between or as a dessert!
