So you get fit without sports - my 4 habits in everyday life that are easy to integrate and just as effective as a visit to the gym

Fit without sport

When I weighed nearly 100 lbs, I could not imagine anything worse than a visit to the gym. I wanted to move - but where to start? I did not want to do sports in front of others. I decided to go for a walk or run every day. This worked out the first 3 days and as soon as I was tired, I was disappointed and gave up. You do not have to lift weights 5 times a week to get fit!

Quite the contrary - a lot of light exercise in everyday life often burns more calories than half an hour on the go elliptical machine! I've integrated 4 concrete habits into my everyday life that will help me move more:

TREPPE TREPPE TREPPE

That was clear, right? I try to ALWAYS take the stairs if I have the chance. To the "luck" I live in the 7th floor ... But also in the work I renounce meanwhile on the elevator! The interesting thing is: It only takes 2 weeks for you to internalize a new habit. I do not even think about whether I climb the stairs in the subway - I automatically steer towards it and think no more! Creating habits is your best friend, if you want to change your life in the long run!

14 o'clock table

I'm very lucky that we have liftable tables in the work! Since I always like to express myself with physical activity, so far I have mostly simply "forgotten" to get up and sit for a few hours.

Now I have a daily serial appointment at 14 o'clock in mine Calendar set, that is: RISE! This little reminder is the last little ass kick that I need to work standing up for at least a few minutes. Most of the time I do not even realize that I'm standing there and it will take 4 hours!

Get one at a time

Drinking that with 3 liters of water, we've already internalized, right? Well! To get an excuse to move, I get each glass of water individually. That's easy 5-10 additional gears per day, which bring me precious steps! Which brings us to the next helper, the ...

Pedometer

Numbers, dates and statistics spur me on. For me, the small step count on my counter is an incredible incentive. I have my (not) movement in black and white and can clearly see if I still have to stroll through the city center in order to reach my 10,000 goal! It does not have to be a fancy expensive device for me, I just ordered the cheapest on amazon * !
