Consumption vs. Minimalism - Glitter Cut Crease
If that's not a post title, I do not know: D But give me a chance, at the end of the post I hopefully made up for Consumption, Minimalism and the Glitter Cut Crease Look
I have a lot of thoughts on my blog and how to proceed with it. I have big plans, but it takes time. One point I'm struggling with is my changing attitude to consumption. Re-German all speak of minimalism, that's a lot of hipper and so on in 2017.
Earlier, to my wild beauty times , I was a passionate hunter.
Not only MAC Limited Editions were hounded down to the blood, but also the 2 € holonagellack from Essence, which was not actually a holo, but the whole community was keen. For 10 years, I have been actively haunting the beauty world and have seen almost everything there is to see.
Very rarely does a new beauty product trigger the hunting instinct for me. My last, right hype was ColourPop
Even if my focus falls away from the individual make-up product, I'm a beauty junky with heart and soul.
How to reduce consumption and a beauty blog putting on a hat?
On the one hand, as a blogger, I try to offer my readers something new and show new products. On the other hand, I just want to have less stuff with me.
That's why I've been thinking about what really fascinates me about Make Up. It's this transformation, from the cluttered, tired Carina to the office Carina every morning that makes me aware of that. My morning make-up routine, which I share daily with you in the Instagram Stories , is meditation and transformation in one. I slip into another role.
Make Up is an expression of my state of mind.
Will I rest? → a subtle make up with mascara, pink blush and lipbalm.
Am I in a good mood and looking forward to the weekend? → Red lipstick á la #redfriday.
Rebellious, 2 hours free and good music in the ear? → Glitter Cut Crease.
Of course, I'll be in Write future about new, great makeup products and indulge my Beauty Enthusiasm . But my focus will shift a bit. I want to show you what you can do with the products you have at home!
As beautiful as Limited Edition Packaging are - if the lipstick inside looks like 10 others that I already own, I do not have to have them.
As pious and ironic as I sound now, outliers will be GUARANTEED: D I know me!
This Glitter Cut Crease Look is a good example. At first I had the look in my head that I wanted to make up - and not a product that I would like to introduce to you. That's what I used to do often. The beauty of Make Up for me is that it always has to be something positive. Makeup must be fun and mean something different to everyone.
If you look at yourself with 300 red lipsticks Feel the best, then hate minimalism and rock your 300 red lipsticks! Who has the sovereignty to suggest to others what they have and should not have? It's that sweet spot for me - not too much and not too little. My make up collection is just settling on my feel-good point.
Consumption vs. Minimalism - with my Glitter Cut Crease Look I want to show you that it's not always about new products, but what you do with them!
