4 Cheap Blogger Technique Basics
Okay, let's cut the bullshit: A $ 5000 camera is a great thing, but their pure possessions will not make you a professional photographer. Technique is there to get ideas we have in our Have head to translate into something we can share with others. Technology is a means of creativity for me, but it does not replace it.
That's why I'm convinced that equipment does not have to be expensive, but it wants to be well controlled. Do not pretend that you need an expensive camera to blog! This is just an excuse because you're scared of starting.
Here are my 4 cheap blogger technique basics that accompany me on every blog photo shoot:
Camera Tripod *
What do people who have not married a photographer, or in which the friend has better things to do on Sunday, than to photograph us in front of the Nymphenberger Schloss in a pink jumpsuit? Right - even the blogger! I now own two tripods for portrait, full body and product photos.
Although a photographer would be a cool thing, with just a few clicks and the next Blogger Technik Basic, you can shoot your photos completely independently!
Self-timer for portrait photos *
Praise the Lord for self-timer! Together with the tripod I am completely independent and can even make outfit photos! My self-timer has two levels that I've come to appreciate: instant photo and 2 second delay. I use the latter mode when, for example, I have both hands in the picture and I still need to hide the self-timer quickly.
Replacement Battery *
It There is not much frustration on this planet, as when you finally want to start taking pictures and the battery is empty. Since I have just one day a week to take photos for next week's posts, my camera MUST be ready to launch when I need it.
That's why I got a second battery, the always charged. This little investment saved me a lot of stress!
Light Effects Reflectors *
My photos look 10 times more professional since I started use my simple, silver reflector to illuminate! Shade adé! It also lights up product photos if you do not have a uniform light source.
What I do not use anymore: Artificial light sources. I only shoot my photos in daylight in front of my window front. Although that means I can only use one day a week for photos, the natural light just looks the best. The good news: Natural light does not cost a penny!
