Losing weight without starving

The notion that you can spend your whole life of one To turn day after day over in order to lose weight deters many.

That's why many people do not even start to live healthier lives. "That's too complicated for me, I'd rather eat a Snickers!" Please do not make the mistake of letting yourself be dissuaded from a healthy life, just because you think you MUST do X or Y to get fit. The very small changes that we integrate into our everyday lives are like little health seeds that we plant in our brains. Before you radically change your diet, just change the way you eat and not what you eat.

The following habits will make your life easier in everyday life, healthier to live and lose weight. By the way and without starving!

Little spoon, big spoon

No, I'm not talking about your favorite sleeping position here with your partner (who can fall asleep tightly, is too hot!)! Instead of shoveling your muesli in the morning with a tablespoon, use a teaspoon! Since I eat soups and my breakfast with a teaspoon, I enjoy my food more. I force myself with it to eat smaller amounts and to perceive my meal more consciously.

It depends on the length

The longer you spend your time eating, the better. Because only 20 minutes after the meal begins, the stomach sends "I'm sick!" Signals to the brain. This means that if you eat your meal fast, you may not feel full at first. But if after 20 minutes nausea and abdominal pain you know - it was too much! As stupid as that sounds, but a stopwatch helped me with this problem. I try to eat so that after 10 minutes I still have at least half of my plate left. I am currently at 25 minutes for my dinner arrived and place in between knife and fork on the table. Between dinner and dessert (without Desser, without me!) I put another 10-15 minutes break on. That also increases the anticipation!

Sit!

If I hate something abysmal, then it's standing food (and smacking sounds, but that does not belong here ). Before I eagerly eat a hors d'oeuvre at an event, I prefer not to eat. For food means rest, coming down and relaxation for me. By sitting down to eat, I'm automatically calmer and can concentrate better on my meal. Try to find a park bench or similar, even if you're on the go and have a roll where you can take some time for yourself.

Ohhhmmmm ...

That may go too far for some of you and I myself have a lot to talk about and continue with: a short meditation before the meal! Do not let the term "meditation" put you off. This is not about esoteric bullshit, but about conscious perception. Take the 60 seconds before a meal to capture your thoughts and tell your head, "Hey Brain, you can take a break, we'll eat now ! "

The goal is to integrate meals as relaxed breaks into everyday life. If we value our nutrition and see it as something positive, the will to eat healthier comes naturally.
